But its a whole nother story when it stumbles your way,

The one lasting thing you're gonna never forget.
Its a trip.
In every way, in every bone, its the house on the hill that ain't got nobody home.
Its ingrained like the sweet malted barley that's been calling your name like a saint.

It may just be grief that's gotten hold of me.

Well its the one, final chance for you to reap what you sow, but now there's no one at the wheel who's got control of the road.
Getting deep with a bottle of somethin hiding under the seat.
And you can keep to yourself and you can silently mourn or you can ask for help from those who've seen this shadow before.
But your weak.
And its so hard to see what he intended to be, just to pass it on and on.
I'm gonna pass it on and on.

And now every night as I'm going to sleep,
I see the same damn image in front of me.
Cuz now every time I drink,
I see his body in a basement of concrete.
And now the only person that I want to see,
is on the other fucking side of the country.
And I've never really know regret,
but I feel so sorry.

It may just be grief that's gotten hold of me.
